Where Tradition Meets Technology

Meet Our Team

Erika Rader- Founder and CEO

Erika is proud to be an East Texas native. She earned her degree in Marketing from Arizona State University before switching gears to the medical field. After marrying her husband, Preston, 4th generation of their family business, Rader Funeral homes, she became the Community Relations Coordinator.

Having dealt with a personal loss, working in hospice, and in the funeral industry, Erika has seen firsthand the needs to be better met for families in their time of loss and grief. In order to be part of the solution, she created a Hospice Relations program to help strengthen the relationship between hospice, clergy and funeral homes that is now used in communities around the country.

After recognizing a need to modernize cemetery space, she founded Everlasting Legacy Memorials. Everlasting Legacy Memorials (ELM) has revolutionized memorial technology which connects families regardless of where they live by providing an interactive “living” memorial that is a legacy for future generations. Her hope is that families nationwide can have the ability to memorialize and remember their loved ones, no matter the distance between them.

Erika is a dedicated community member and serves on numerous nonprofit boards and committees, as well as chairing multiple fundraising events. Her positive impact on her community has earned her several awards, including “Stars Over Longview” and “People of Our Community Who Make a Difference.” Professionally, she has been recognized as a “Who’s Who Among Young Professionals” as well as a person many colleagues call upon for direction and advice to improve their own communities. In her spare time, Erika enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, entertaining, and staying involved in her community.
